The mission of the American Motorcyclist Association is to promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling.

AMA District 36 Road Riders: District 36 provides promotes and protects the interests of motorcyclists, both the "recreational" rider and those who consider motorcycling a way of life. District 36 serves AMA charted clubs, promoters, and individual riders in Northern California and Western Nevada. District 36 and its member organizations promote family fun on motorcycles through activities that encourage and exemplify safe and skillful riding

American Federation of Motorcyclists: American Federation of Motorcyclists is a California roadracing club, offering a place where you can participate in races, watch the action as a spectator, or even take part as a turnworker on the course. All events are open to the public and we welcome enthusiasts of all types.

Bay Area Riders Forum (BARF) was founded in 2002 as an online motorcycle community - a place to share your stories of motorcycling experience with friends, find information, learn from seasoned pros, contact each other to organize rides and activities, and discuss the latest motorcycling news, products and events.

Racing

SCORE International Off Road Racing: SCORE International is an off-road sanctioning body in the sport of desert racing and is famous for its flagship event, the Baja 1000. SCORE races are held in United States and Mexico. Founded by Mickey Thompson in 1973, SCORE continues today under the direction of Sal Fish.

Riding Areas

Carnegie Park is just a short drive from the Concord area. It has riding areas suited for the young guys with training wheels to the track riders to the hill climbers. The park also has overnight camping, a pro shop and more.

Sand Hill Ranch Motorcycle Riding Information – Brentwood California: Sand Hill Ranch is located in Brentwood with open practice on Motocross, mini-X and PeeWee tracks plus controlled practice in the dirt oval on Friday Nights under the lights.
